I can't believe we're celebrating five years together! Where did the time go?
This wasn't my original plan.
My career began in television, working as a producer and reporter for NBC-4 Washington DC and PBS.
But when my skin began to change, it sparked a personal journey to find answers, not just for myself, but for others too.
I never had serious acne as a teenager but after college, I experienced severe breakouts, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.
I felt frustrated and searched everywhere until I met a dermatologist who helped me get my skin back.
That moment changed everything for me and I knew I had to make good skincare that offered real results accessible to all!
The last five years have been filled with growth. We’ve served hundreds of clients who have trusted us with their skin. We’ve also launched up to 4 effective skincare products through our UDODI brand.
UDODI is close to my heart. It's an Igbo word from my Nigerian heritage. It means "There's Peace."
I chose this name because it truly reflects what the skin is meant to be, peaceful and calm no matter what life throws at you!
We earned certifications such as, M/WBE, DBE, and NYC DOE Vendor. We also joined the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
We’ve showed up at pop-ups, shared our work at events, and earned recognition along the way.
One of the proudest parts of this journey has been teaching aesthetics. For the past three years, I have been able to guide and mentor future estheticians find their place and passion within the industry.
When I look back, none of this would be possible without you- our wonderful clients!
