UDODI Skincare CORE Ingredients

Our approach is simple- peaceful skin is youthful skin! This same motto applies to our formulation. It was very important during the formulation process that we used ingredients that won't irritate the skin, and very effective at the same time. The ingredients in Udodi skin care has been tested and proven by clinical studies.

Glycerin:

Glycerin is great for all skin types- dry, oily, combination, sensitive or normal. Its main function is to trap and bind moisture in the skin. Preventing dryness, plumps, and hydrates the skin. Skin care products that have glycerin will be a little heavier than products that don't. So, give your skin a few weeks to adjust to the consistency.

Hyaluronic Acid:

Hyaluronic Acid is one ingredient that works immediately, depending on the formulation. The skin naturally has hyaluronic acid, but the older we get the amount our body produces declines. So, it is important to use a hydrating serum (hyaluronic acid serum) because it holds 1,000 times its own weight in water. And great for retaining the skin's moisture.

Niacinamide:

Niacinamide has a variety of great benefits to the skin- repairs lipid barrier, treats hyperpigmentation, minimizes pores, and much more.

Tocopherol:

Tocopherol also known as vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental damages. This ingredient works well with vitamin C.

LUCEMINE:

Lucemine is a vitamin C derivative with whitening effect on pigmented skin. It optimizes the whitening effect of Vitamin C solving its structural instability.

Squalene:

Squalene has anti-inflammatory properties and can reduce redness and swelling.

FAQs

  • Why do I need a Hydrating Serum
Hydrating serums are essentially hyaluronic acid, which is important to keep the skin properly hydrated. When the skin is hydrated, it is less likely to breakout, and it heals quicker.
  • Do Vitamin C serums do anything?
Yes. Vitamin C (Udodi Reveal C Serum) is an antioxidant which helps to protect the skin from environmental damages, reduces premature aging, and helps protect your skin from the sun. Best used during the day, followed by a SPF moisturizer of at least 30 and up.
  • Is using a SPF moisturizer daily necessary?
Using SPF is the secret to great skin! It'll keep wrinkles, fine lines, crows feet, loss of volume and elasticity at bay. The ozone layer is depleting, so don't leave the house without your SPF moisturizer of at least 30 and up.
